I am thinking of passing this MBP to my wife (to replace a laptop PC that is over 10 years old), and purchase the new 16 inch model. I see the promotions on Amazon, regarding the base i7 or i9 models. 512 or 1TB are not for me an important criterion. I mainly do WEB development and "ordinary" Photoshop and Illustrator https aka ms remoteconnect graphics. I often have many apps / browsers / tabs open at the same time. In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.I want a machine that will last at least as long as my late 2013 MBP. I often work with a DELL P2415Q external display. I want to avoid a machine that makes noise (that heats up ...). I hesitate between the 2 basic models on Amazon i7 or i9. I wonder if I shouldn't bet on a machine with 32 GB of memory instead. Will I notice a big difference (power / speed) with my 2013 model? Thank you for your advice ...
